Carol Ofori chats all things 27 including a birthday wish for ECR
Updated | By East Coast Radio/ Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
"I'm humbled to be a part of this team, I love KZN and what we have done in KZN. Keep being amazing, I look forward to your dirty 30s East Coast Radio."
Celebrating 27 years is a huge milestone that we are really excited about.
And so, naturally, we asked KZN's No.1 Hit Music Station's daytime queen to share some memories about when she was 27 years old.
And of course, it was decorated with hearty laughs and life lessons.
Carol shared how at 27 she was two years into dating her husband, Greg Ofori. She describes 27 as being an interesting time in her life.
We would imagine so. She had also been out of home for two years and living on her own. "Twenty-seven was an amazing age, I was in my own space, in my own house, doing my own thing."
She made a very valid point about being 27, it was at this age that she realised she needed to start mapping out what she wanted in her thirties.
Not only is this something that many 27-year-olds fail to do, it is something that everyone should be cognisant of at any age.
This led her to chat about her feelings towards East Coast Radio. This is what she had to say.
To East Coast Radio, Happy 27 years, 27 years of magic, 27 years of keeping KZN in company, 27 years of information, edutainment and just 27 years of fun. So, Happy Birthday East Coast Radio. I am just so humbled to be a part of this team. I love being a part of the East Coast Radio team, I love KZN and I love what we have done in KZN just in the short time that I have been there for three years. I can only imagine what more East Coast Radio will be doing for the future, keep being amazing. I look forward to your dirty thirties East Coast Radio.- Carol Ofori
