"This is one for my history book for sure" - Carol Ofori.

Our Daytime Diva is knocking down one milestone at a time.
Her most recent accolade is one that deserves a spot in her history book.
Carol Ofori was chosen to be the 'Voice of God' or in layman's terms, the voice in the arena, at the Netball World Cup 2023.
The Netball World Cup 2023 took place in Cape Town this year and the finals were held this past Sunday, 6 August 2023.
Australia won gold and proved their strength against opponents England.
Carol Ofori was there in the thick of the action as she graced everyone at the arena during the final and the closing ceremony.
She also got to see some interesting people in the crowd like Caster Semenya and Kurt Darren.
But it was a win for us as we heard Carol Ofori's voice pulsate through the arena. A moment that was definitely worthy of gold.
So, in essence, we can say South Africa won in some way for us...

It seems she wasn't the only one achieving gold, even one of the players from Tonga said "yes" when her partner proposed.
