Bride defies tradition and wears pyjamas to wedding
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A bride has gone viral for showing what she wore to her wedding reception...
What a time to be alive...
We have people from all walks of life breaking social conformities and constructs, pushing the boundaries when it comes to closed-mindedness.
One bride who really knocked us off our feet with her bespoke wedding reception attire also managed to invigorate us.
Far too often we let the social constructs rule how we conduct ourselves.
Sometimes, so much so that we end up doing things based on making everyone else happy or to tick a box to feel accepted.
But this bride took those constructs and threw them out.
Bride, Kaila, decided to share an inspiring short video on TikTok showing everyone how she wore a 'comfy' t-shirt and tights to her wedding reception.
Her words of inspiration matched her actions when she shared the following on her post: "Be original. do your own thing! Wearing spandex & an oversized t-shirt was amazing after being in a dress all day." (TikTok)
Check her out enjoying her wedding with her hubby who matched her perfectly.
