Having family that has made it big can't be easy. Having family in general and making it work is in itself challenging. So we can't imagine what it must be like to be the daughter of a famous rapper and music producer.
This is the case for LaTanya Young, Dr Dre's daughter. Dre's name has been circulating on the online streets recently as his daughter revealed to press sources that she has been living in a rental car, while her kids were being cared for by a friend.
The thing about family is that no one outside of the family can actually understand fully what's going. If you aren't in it, then you cannot pass judgment and have an opinion, because ultimately you don't know all sides of the story.
That's just the way it works when it comes to family. According to MSN, in a candid interview with the Daily Mail, LaTanya revealed that she was living out of a car, whilst also working as a delivery driver for Uber Eats and DoorDash, and as an assembler in a warehouse.
She had been experiencing difficulty finding employment in Nevada and that's when she decided to move to California.
"The wage is higher in California — there was no work in Nevada,” there weren’t enough jobs. I have friends and family that will let us come back and forth, but the majority of the time I’m living out of my car." LaTanya said.
As Dr Dre is seen posing in one of his recent Instagram posts, another user comments on the post about her opinion when it comes to news of LaTanya not being able to make ends meet.
"I am not judging you but understand everyone matures at a different rate. While you may have helped her for many years that does not negate her present. I do not know the full syory BUT i know that a parent never gives up, stops helping and trying to assist and love their children. Regardless of their mistakes, issues or problems they need the love, help and presece of their parents..." Karol Mosebay wrote.
Some comments were PG (Parental Guidance - how ironic), with people bashing him for not caring about his daughter. Whatever the situation, the thing is that as media and fans, even non-fans, we cannot go to social media to shame other people for things that we do not fully understand.
"Daily Mail reports that Young has reached out to her dad to no avail. She has reportedly not seen him in 18 years and only communicates with him via his team. She also last received help in the form of money over a year ago," MSN states.
