#BestOfTheWeek: From a house-sitting gone wrong to a sweet husband who gives pedicures
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Carol Ofori's week of stories at a glance...
We started off the week with a story about a woman who asked a family member to house-sit while she was away for the weekend. Things went sideways when she came home to find her house in a state.
Her house was extremely untidy and she recorded it all on video. After seeing this, anyone would think twice before getting someone to house-sit, especially a family member.

Then we saw an apology letter, with flowers and chocolates and some unmentionables, that could literally have caused a war. A husband went out to the pub and when he came home, he and the wife got into an argument.
He decided to be the bigger person and apologise with flowers and chocolates, but he did one thing that was very cheeky. He added in a box of tampons...

And then we saw that many stores were missing peppermint crisp and it got us a bit anxious. Considering that we love our Proudly South African snacks.
The good news is that Nestlé came through with some positive news saying that they had an issue with the production at one of their factories but everything is good now.

Then we saw another couple story, but this one was super sweet. A husband is seen giving his wife a pedicure and it gets us feeling all gushy as we read all the comments.
Until it becomes apparent that there will always be some haters in the world. And in true fashion we had to shut them down and shine a light on this couple's love.

A woman from Gauteng shares her story of being married to a man that she has never met, and that too for over 15 years. It seems it was a case of fraud when an immigrant wanted to gain citizenship and used her ID number to get married.
She went through a lot but things eventually worked out for the best, as she is now finally free from him. Her story opens up a huge topic about corruption and also how things are managed in our country.
