Let's take a look at the best of the week with Carol Ofori...
We started the week off on such a personal note. Carol Ofori shared her favourite coffee spot in Durban with all of us. In honour of Cappuccino Day, she shared her favourite spot and even got to speak with the barista who is actually a crowned champion who will be competing internationally next year.
The vibe, the energy, it all contributed to her love of Africa. African Roots Coffee is situated in Umhlanga and they surprised her with a voucher worth R200 for a lucky listener.

Then we took a look at the reason why some of us get disconnected with our internet when the loadshedding starts. It's actually because of a battery, but the effects are real.
Most especially when you have a family that is used to consuming social media when the lights go out. Nevertheless, the full explanation is here, perhaps you can advise us what you do when the loadshedding happens.

Then we featured the beautiful Samentha Reddy, who is working to help communities learn more about mental health. She shared her recent accolade with us, winning the Ms. Unseen International Social Influencer 2021.
We loved her story and what she expressed are her plans when it comes to helping the youth understand what mental health is all about, as well as how to deal with it in the best way. Her love for this runs deep as she has been a nurse in mental health for more than ten years.

Then a while back Carol Ofori did a DNA test to identify her ancestry and the results are in. She chatted with a doctor about the results on-air and found out that she may have a long lost cousin.
How amazing is that? She shared her ancestry breakdown with everyone, check it out here and listen to the full interview below.

And then this story got under our skin. A hospital in Japan found out that for almost thirty years, their taps were incorrectly connected and their patients as well as workers were drinking toilet water!
Yes, it's true, and it got us thinking about whether we would've wanted to know or not? Check out the full article below.
