#AppreciationMonday: Is it luck or strategy? Woman wins third lottery in five years!
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Some people have all the luck...
The lottery is not for everyone, but for those that take a chance, it involves consistency and a strong belief in luck.
You know four-leafed clovers, buying on the same day, smiling at the service attendant so you get the good juju...
Things like this are fair game and quite important for many lottery players, well, at least that's what we assume is the case.
We are not certain if these were the beliefs of this woman, a stay-at-home mother from Maryland, USA, though.
But whether or not it was, she has some good luck...
"She has her third lottery prize of at least $100,000 in five years, a feat she attributes to strategy and luck." (CNN)
Now if you are an avid lottery player and have yet to win, then perhaps listening to her advice may bring upon your big win.
When asked about her strategy, she said:
"We figure out which scratch-off games have been on sale for a long time but still have a lot of big-money prizes." (CNN)
She went on to share that the information is available on the Maryland Lottery Website, so for instance she would look for a game that has debuted a while back and still has prizes available.
However, it's not all about strategy and research... there's that lucky luck we were talking about.

"Still, there's an element of luck, especially when it comes to choosing where to buy the ticket. She picked a Goose Creek convenience store in Mardela Springs based on sheer intuition."
The woman was still surprised and in shock over her win, even though she has won before. And as for the winnings, she's putting it in the bank for her kids...
