#AppreciationMonday: Finding time to do one random act of kindness
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A beautiful compilation video that shows a host of different people helping the elderly out is something to show us that kindness does exist and isn't highlighted as much as it should be.
With all the hate that is being shared online these days, we wanted to flip the script and share something positive and uplifting this Appreciation Monday.
As we enter the month that is dedicated to women from all walks of life, it's important to pay homage to all the efforts of kindness that have helped women break the boundaries and be a force of empowerment. This video shows love for the elderly and as much as it is an international video, it shows how a small act can be so impactful.
In a time where many people are riddled with hatred, harsh remarks, fear, and heartache, it can be said that sometimes there is no room for doing good. Or even worse, why should I do something good for someone else, no one ever worries about me or does anything good for me...
We want to encourage you to move away from that kind of mindset, let's start this week, this new month off with a positive and uplifting mindset. As we launch our new #HandsOfHope initiative with The Sharks and try to raise money for those that have been affected beyond repair, let's choose hope, love, restoration, and peace.
