#AppreciationMonday: Baby Shark to the rescue for this crying kid on a plane
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Certainly a new way of appreciating your fellow passengers...
Travelling with kids can be challenging. Besides having to keep them occupied, you also have to cater for the possibility of tantrums or restlessness that may turn into an overall speed bump.
Travelling in a car with your own family is one thing, but when you are in a plane full of people, it can be a bit pressurising.
Pressurising because handling a crying toddler in front of strangers, who may or may not be judging you and your child, can be hectic.

But this happened on a plane ride from Dubai to Albania. A guy by the name of Parikshit Balochi shared the video on TikTok.
"Before the five-hour flight took off, a child sitting next to him, who Balochi said looked about four years old, started crying. He told Insider that a passenger behind them started quietly murmuring the words to "Baby Shark" and in a bid to comfort the child he decided to do the same." (Business Insider)

This was truly such a win for parents all over. This flight of passengers showed such empathy to what is quite a taboo topic that many parents go through more than once in their parental life.
Balochi shared that he is a radio host and therefore it was not embarrassing for him to partake in the hype of singing a popular kids' song. Nevertheless, we love the way things turned out. He went on to mention that we all need to be more tolerant of crying kids.
