American food reviewer tries McDonald's in South Africa
"It's so fun to come somewhere else and see how they're remixing ingredients or adding new ingredients to make their menu items."
McDonald's is a firm favourite when it comes to eating out in South Africa.
Besides the regular meals that leave many wanting more, there is the caffeinated fix that always manages to satisfy the coffee lovers' cravings.
One American food reviewer, Sonny, decided that he wanted to try out McDonald's in South Africa. He had previously tried McDonald's in France, where he found they put red cabbage on their burger and in Spain they served beer at McDonald's.
So, of course, he was excited to see what McDonald's in South Africa would feature on their menu.
He visited the McDonald's at Rosebank Mall and decided he wanted to try out the breakfast menu and then proceeded to try out the lunch menu as well.
Check him review the breakfast menu below, he was impressed with the idea of transforming boerewors into a burger patty and putting it into a sandwich, as he says.
