Air-conditioned clothing for your pets is the new thing to keep them cool

A great way to keep our furry friends cool during the Summer months...
We've always felt helpless when it comes to helping our pets feel cool during the Summer months.
Because, as you know, the temperatures can get really high in our beloved province, so the level of discomfort is high.
It seems one company has decided to dig deeper with a way to help cool our furry family members.
A Japanese maternity clothing company sought out to protect pets with an innovative way of keeping them cool.
As Japan faces uncomfortably high temperatures, the team at Sweet Mommy developed "air-conditioned pet clothing" called, 'Cool Dog'.
"The team have partnered with veterinarians to come up with a "new range of clothes for pets that will include built in fans to keep the animals cool." (Independent UK)
The fan is battery operated and weighs around 85g, it can be fixed onto a mesh pet outfit that they have for pets.
The idea stemmed from an earlier trend of air-conditioned clothing for factory and construction workers.
And it can also be used for cats...
Unfortunately, no further information as to whether it will be made available to other countries has been revealed. The outfit comes in five different sizes and is retailing for $74 (which is roughly R1,000).
