Mike V will now host the late-night weekend shows while Sam Cele will host the late evening weekend shows.

J’Sbu will now host East Coast Party People, every Friday between 18:00 – 22:00 pm as well as The Early breakfast on weekdays between 04:00am – 06:00am.

The young, vibrant and enthusiastic, Danny Guselli and Tee Xaba will join forces to be the new hosts of The East Coast Radio Top 40, thereafter Deon Govender will take the reigns hosting the 14:00 – 18:00 show on both Saturday and Sunday.

Sundays will never be the same as Minnie Ntuli brings her huge personality and infectious laughter to the 10:00 – 14:00 show.

Programming Manager, Zane Derbyshire said “We have an overabundance of young radio talent in KZN and particularly on East Coast Radio. I am thrilled that some of these presenters now get an opportunity to showcase this talent on our daytime weekend slots. Having presenters of Jane Linley-Thomas, Deon Govender and Danny Guselli’s calibre, mixed with Tee Xaba, Sam Cele, Mike V and Minnie Ntuli’s energy and raw talent provides an experience that will be much loved and familiar to our listeners but spiced with new entertaining surprises!”

The current weekday line-up will remain as is while the weekend new line-up will take effect from Saturday, 11 May 2019.
