Zaba's message about Nelson Mandela
Updated | By Jason
Firstly, my condolences to all South Africans on the loss of the Father of our nation, uMkhulu uMadiba.
My full name is Zabalazile , which is IsiZulu for "the one who has struggled" and I guess it was very fitting seeing as I was born when my parents were in exile during apartheid, known as isikhathi somzabalazo.
uMkhulu uMadiba wasn't just an icon of freedom, but a man who gave selflessly and was willing to give up his life so that a young black female like myself could have a future brighter than any black South Aftican could fathom prior to 1994.
All of us can learn value able lessons from uMkhulu uMadiba, such as lessons of humbleness, humility and patience.
Lala Kahle qhawe lama qhawe.
