Thousands of locals and tourists gather to see it at 11h30 every day in the summer and every second day during the winter.

The time-honoured tradition of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.

But, as you're about to see, not even one of Britain's oldest traditions is immune to error.

One of the guards was left red-faced after he slipped and fell on a manhole cover as he was taking up position in his sentry box.

He loses his footing, slides sideways, knocks his bearskin on the side of the box and drops his rifle.

He quickly scrambles to to his feet, but realises his tumble has been seen by thousands.

You only had one task! But, let's be honest, it happens to the best of us.

Have you ever been to London? Have you watched the Changing of the Guard?
