Stay With Me is the follow up to the hugely successful debut single, Aint’ Nobody Got Time For That, which owned the charts on many radio stations.

Stay With Me is all about memories, the ones that stay with us, the ones we keep to ourselves and the ones we share with others. Our memories make us who we are, so it is important to hold onto them and to make fresh ones!

“When you hear the phrase 'Stay With Me’ you immediately think of a romantic relationship between a couple,” said Nick Jordaan, lead singer and guitarist, “In this case, the song is really about something a lot more personal: the memories that we all hold onto – it doesn’t matter whether they bring joy, force a smile, encourage a giggle, or even cause a lump in your throat, they stay with you forever. “

That said, Stay with Me is light-hearted, feel-good and fun! It is true edgy Rubber Duc “folk hop”, mixing hip-hop rhythms with catchy folk melodies and instrumentation.

The music video was shot by Kyle White from KyleWhiteTV and was filmed on the Ducs’ recent road trip to Durban. It captures ‘behind the scenes’ moments, from the build up to shows to the nasty post show hangovers, and makes you feel like you’re right there with the guys, having a ducking good time! “We want people to watch the video and smile and think of similar memories that they have,” said Brendan Campbell, who, together with Nick, exercised duck loads of brain power and mighty skill to produce the song.
