Respect!

Respect!

Some take what people do for a living for granted and assume one could do the job just as good as others or even better! Natarah shares why she has new found respect for people who work in supermarkets!

'I once volunteered to pack shelves at a major grocery store.

This was many, many years ago and I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

I worked on the bottom two shelves sorting out canned goods.

It was a six hour shift but it was gruelling to me. My back was killing me at the end of the day.

I realised that day that this was not the job for me.

What I did gain however was newfound respect for the staff at supermarkets who pack shelves, especially those in the frozen foods section!'

What job do you have new found respect for after attempting it?
