Pet adoptions for this week!
Updated | By Abi Ray
We have had such a great response to this weekly post about animals looking for new homes that are filled with love and care.
Too often people don't realise just HOW many pets are looking for homes, due to abandonment, abuse, or due to them being surrenendered by their former owners, for whatever reason.
So this is a space to show you some faces who need a second chance at life.
Please remember that there will be a compulsary home check, and an adoption fee, should you want to adopt one of these animals.
Shelter dogs and cats just seem to have an extra bit of love to give, so adopting one could possibly be the most fulfilling thing you do.
1. Kitty Cat - Ferral Cat Rescue
This poor black and white girl is about 1 and a half years and has been spayed. She has never had a home to call her own, no loving family to care for her, so sad. She was saved from someone who wanted to put her down, because she was coming into their home. Good condition and very affectionate. Would suite a home with very few animals or better still could cope on her own with a loving family. Needs to be homed as soon as possible as not happy at present.
Please call Doug on 0741872140 or Tracey on 0827867269 if you're looking to adopt a cat.
2. Skye - Puppy SOS KZN
Skye is about 13 weeks old and is a Staffy cross.
When they picked her up (found thrown in a bush) she was diagnosed as having sarcoptic mange and was placed in isolation for 6 weeks.
She is now fully recovered and will shortly be ready to start her new life. Her sister found her home last week so let's make sure Skye has a happy ending soon.
Skye has a great personality and is full of life. She is very affectionate and will be a great addition to any family.
