Natarah's pet corner!

The Breakfast Stack recently spoke about the crazy things our pets do and why we love them so much.
We were inundated with emails and phonecalls from East Coasters boasting about their clever four-legged and feathered friends.
There are many animal lovers on the East Coast, so Natarah Nadesan decided to put up this oh-so-cute video of this Australian Cattle Dog named Djaingo Waragol, who says grace before he eats. The two met at an animal shelter in 2003. Vets there had planned on euthanasing Djaingo the next day as he'd become very aggressive after years of abuse.
Djaingo is best friend to Steven R. Boyd, an American army veteran who has a stomach disease called gastroparesis. The pair's so close, that Djaingo never leaves Steven's side and if Steven needs medical attention, the compassionate canine alerts the neighbours and stays with his master, comforting him until help arrives. Steven says once, Djaingo ran to his neighbour's front door and barked nonstop until someone responded to his call for help.
Natarah did some research into this beautiful friendship between man and dog after her mum sent her a video of Djaingo, that was uploaded onto YouTube three years ago. It shows Djaingo bowing his head, while Steven says grace before serving his faithful pooch his supper. Steven says he taught Djaingo to pray as a gift for his mother for Christmas one year.
He says the two now say their prayers before dinner almost everyday. Click here to have a look at the video.
