Mafikizolo is planning to do something that’s never been done before at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA).
The Afro pop duo is one of the acts expected to perform at the event which has been described as Africa’s biggest awards show.
The group is among the top nominees for the awards.
Makhosi Khoza got the chance to catch up with Mafikizolo who have been nominated in four categories.
The "Khona" hit makers told Makhosi that there will be fireworks when they hit the stage.
They promised a "surprise performance" - something different that has never been done before.
The MAMAs will air live from the Durban International Convention Centre on Saturday 7th June at 9pm.
