Live fish removed from a man’s intestine

There are a few headlines that you just gloss over because they are the kind of unsubstantiated WooWoo fluff pieces that get covered by gossip mags or low brow papers. You know the kind of headlines I'm talking about:

MAN SUES GOD FOR FLOODING VILLAGE.

TOKOLOSHI TURNED WIFE INTO GOAT.

FAMILY RAISED BY WOLVES.

So when I read "Brazilian man has 4 foot fish removed from his intestine" I was naturally skeptical. But when you watch this video you realize that some things just have to be seen to be believed.

This is not for the faint hearted. But if you can suffer through the gory extraction of a lung fish from a mans lower intestine, it is well worth it to see what the bevy of nurses are doing in the background when the offending creature is extricated.

I had to laugh at first, if only because the coupling of certain words - even out of context - are just funny. There is something naturally funny about it being a LUNG fish being removed from a humans lower INTESTINE.

It's like a Garter snake being found in your bra.
Or a Tapeworm found in your pencil case.
Or a butterfly found on your toast.
