Finding Mr Right
Updated | By Staff Writer
A few weeks ago a few of my friends and I went out for our regular ladies’ (kinda) night.
We have all been friends for years now, but because of growing up we seldom get a chance to see each other. Our scheduled nights are so important to make our bond stronger.
Of my friends, there are two of us who are in stable relationships and are engaged to be married. The rest of the squad is still trying to find their feet and trying to find Mr Right.
Ladies, there is absolutely nothing wrong with not being in a relationship and being single.
That said, my friends find it a cause for anxiety in their lives that we're in our mid-twenties and there is no sight of Mr Right.
As part of the conversation, I realized that my girls are really picky about the characteristics they want in a man – as well as how wealthy he is.
For example, he must be tall, successful, have a nice car and not be living with his parents. He also needs to have no baby mamma drama and must be good looking.
If you could build a man then my dear friends would have had found him by now.
I'm such a believer in falling in love with the person and not their possessions.
So I want to know: what are your deal breakers when it comes to choosing a partner? And has the partner of your dreams come to real life?
