If you haven't heard of it, the venue is ideal - situated just 500 metres from Shaka’s Rock Beach, the Secret Spot hostel has an amazing swimming pool, Braai facilities as well as a self-catering kitchen and chilled poolside bar.
There's also Free Wi-Fi which is a huge added bonus.
We didn't stay over, but had a sneak peak into the rooms which all have a fan, shared bathrooms with a shower and THE most unbelievable views. .. all linen is provided aswell!
The establishment sleeps 36 people in Private Double's units, twin units, and tented units with a girls and boys dormitory also available and set in 10,000 sq meters of picturesque African bush situated above Shaka's Rock Beach - you just can't go wrong here.
The vibe is fantastic and whether you decide to head down to the beach or just relax around the swimming pool, this is one place you'll make lots of friends, and some great memories too.
There's also a tour desk and best of all you can book a surf lesson too.
Secret Spot is located just 20 minutes’ drive from King Shaka International Airport and 35 minutes’ drive from Durban.
Charles and Dee are incredibly hospitable and went out of there way to be accommodating and make us feel at home ... so a HUGE thank you from all of us!
