Behind-the-scenes at Kings and Queens of Comedy
Updated | By tanstan fourie
The monarchs of mirth were at it again for the 2015 edition of the East Coast Radio Kings & Queens of Comedy.
It was an evening filled with side-splitting comedy where some of South Africa’s brightest and funniest comedians took it to the next level.
Darren got to hang out with ALL the comedian legends during the event.
This is what you didn’t see on Friday night:
Trevor Gumbi and Darren Maule practicing in case there was load shedding comedy.
Dusty Rich and I trying to figure out where Aunty Rumba has hidden Jailishni Naidoo's body!
Muthu Murugan stages a standing ovation because he wasn't going to get it naturally after going 10 minutes over his time and some racist material.
The moment Conrad Koch and I realise he makes a living with his hand up Chester's a$$
Mark Banks and I showing what real comedians drink backstage.
Tracy Lee Oliver was there to encourage the new SA to make more coloureds...
Try as we might; we just couldn't get little old Nina Hastie and I in the same shot.
I don't know... Sometimes those Capetonians just don't respect personal space - Nik Rabinowitz
Darren's favourite graffiti in the world is when they do this to his show poster!
