Adoptees of the week
There are so many animals sitting in shelters all over Kwazulu Natal just waiting for a loving family to take them home.
The sad fact is that animals get lost, abandoned or even worse, abused, all the time.
The ones who are lucky enough to get rescued end up sitting in shelters for months because people think that they aren't good enough, simply because they aren't bought from a breeder or a shop.
The 'Adopt don't shop' stance is one that I truly believe in, and therefore will feature a few adoptees from various shelters in KZN, every week on Animal Antics.
There are contact details for each little furkid, so if you are willing to love and care for one of these animals for the rest of their life, please dont hesitate to call.
There will be a small adoption fee as well as a compulsary home check.
1. Ted - Phoenix Animal Care & Treatment
Ted is a 12 week old German Shepherd cross. He was born on the streets of Phoenix and had been living in very rough conditions for the first six weeks of his life. All of his siblings were killed from stray dogs and traffic on the roads. He is a beautiful boy with a great personality to match. He loves the beach and enjoys long walks to burn off his energy.

2. Storm - Project Dog
This week we have little Storm, who is a delightful and active spaniel cross. She is 1 year old and her owners lost their house and had to give her up. She is good with other dogs and people, including small children, and has been in a home with cats before. She is patiently waiting in boarding kennels for someone to come and adopt her! Storm is spayed , her vaccinations are up to date and she is house trained.
