Abi's girls night out
On Monday last week I decided that it was time for a ladies night! It's been ages that I've sat down around a table with a bunch of ladies to enjoy a meal and a chit chat.
And so I invited my listeners to enter and join me for a delicious three-course meal at Barrio Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge.
The four ladies who won were Janet, Debi, Caitlin and Taniya, and I tell you, we had a blast! Chef David was very patient with us as we asked all kind of questions about wine pairing! The staff at Barrio were friendly and helpful - also showing us lots of patience when we asked them to take photo after photo after photo!
The starters were just so tasty (the aubergine stack being my favourite); the main course was simply delicious (I will go back for the seafood paella) and the dessert of fruit and baklava was the perfect way to end this gorgeous meal.
I defintely think that it's a good idea to bunk work more regularly in order to do this!
