World Cup hope for Bafana
Updated | By Andre Bloem
The 2014 World Cup dream could still be alive for Bafana Bafana.
FIFA are investigating Ethiopia and it seems Group A may not be settled yet.
Ethiopia are accused of fielding an ineligible player in their victory over Botswana earlier this month.
Ethiopia currently lead Bafana by five points and with only one qualifying match left.
Only the ten group winners will have a shot at playing at the World Cup next year.
They will advance to a home-and-away knockout round.
The five survivors will secure spots at the showpiece in Brazil.
Ethiopia beat South Africa 2-1 in Addis Ababa on Sunday.
Bernard Parker scored the Bafana goal.
