WATCH - Fast and furious fishing
I last fished during the Safire Insurance King of the Sea back in May this year. That trip came with a surf launch at Hibberdene and with a surf launch comes an element of risk.
However, my skipper on the day made light work of the launch and we reached the safety of the backline without as much as a bruise.
I previously ended up battered and bruised after a tough surf launch at Shelley Beach and so it was rather pleasant to emerge unscathed at Hibberdene.
Unfortunately, the easy launch was followed by a poor day of fishing.
Today we take a look at anglers who risk life and limb for the sake of landing a big one.
I would not recommend this spot for beginners.
