WATCH - Barracuda fishing action
The great barracuda is a fish species found in parts of the Atlantic Ocean and also in the Caribbean Sea. These fish live in both tropical and subtropical waters.
West Africans are known to smoke barracuda and use them in soups and sauces.
The great barracuda is not found in KwaZulu-Natal waters.
We do have pickhandle barracuda in Durban harbour.
