WATCH - Awesome fly fishing action
I have done plenty of fishing off boats, jet-skis, piers, rocks and beaches. However, I have never done fly fishing and it certainly remains firmly on my bucket list.
I have often seen anglers fishing with flies in Durban harbour.
I recall one angler landing a nice springer on fly near the BAT Centre.
Casting a fly effectively is a skill and one I would like to try my hand at in the near future.
I suspect the best place to start would be at a trout farm.
Today we have a look at an angler using fly effectively from the beach.
He ends up catching a variety of fish.
