Highlanders and All Blacks flyhalf Lima Sopoaga's sneaky chip almost led to the Super Rugby try of the season.
With the stakes so high in Super Rugby, we don't often see players try outrageous things.
But in the spirit of New Zealand rugby, Lima Sopoaga did just that in this morning's clash against the Hurricanes. While the result didn't go the Highlanders way, Sopoaga provided plenty of entertainment with a sneaky little chip that caught everyone by surprise.
The moment of magic nearly led to a try, but it wasn't to be. Check it out:
The Hurricanes snatched the match at the death, with Ardie Savea going over for the winning try after the final hooter. The result saw the Canes move up to third on the New Zealand conference.
