Captain Blair Wiggins hooks one of his favourite fish and ends up getting a decent workout.
Tarpon are believed to weigh up to 140 kilograms and are famous for their acrobatic fighting style.
They are a very popular target species in Florida in the USA.
Atlantic tarpon are also caught in countries such as Angola, Costa Rica, Brazil and Mexico.
Another species of tarpon is found in both the Indian and Pacific oceans.
American fishing legend, Wiggins, battles an Atlantic tarpon in the footage below.
