VIDEO: Sea trout fishing action
Sea trout can weigh up to around 28 kilograms and are the same species as the freshwater brown trout.
Some brown trout end up living in the ocean and only return to fresh water to spawn - these are known as sea trout.
Sea trout are almost always a lot bigger than brown trout which opt to stay in rivers and lakes.
This because of the greater food resources provided by the ocean environment.
Brown trout are often caught on live worms.
The anglers in the footage below are targeting speckled trout with shrimp as bait.
Speckled trout are a spotted version of sea trout.
