VIDEO: Real and Atletico share spoils
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid shared the spoils in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup last night.
The final score at the Santiago Bernabeu was 1-1.
Madrid's new signing, James Rodriquez, came off the bench to score the opener. Rodriquez replaced the injured Cristiano Ronaldo in the second half.
Ronaldo was taken off as a precuation by Carlo Ancelotti. The FIFA World Player of the Year appears to still be struggling with a knee injury.
Raul Garcia got the equaliser for Diego Simeone's men, minutes after Real took the lead.
The two sides will meet in Friday's second leg at the Vicente Calderon.
