Armenian weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan suffered a horrific arm hyper-extension during a clean-and-jerk lift at the Olympics.
The 20-year-old weightlifter had high hopes of claiming a medal at the Olympics, having won the 2016 European Weightlifting Championships.
However his dreams were dashed when his arm buckled under the weight of the 195 kilogram barbell during his clean-and-jerk lift - badly hyper-extending his elbow.
