VIDEO: Not your average fishing

Here in Durban anglers often seek out large ships in their quest for dorado.

These fish tend to enjoy lurking in the shadows cast by container vessels and other bits and pieces floating on or near the ocean surface.

I can also recall some decent fishing near a concrete block that used to be in the channel between the north and south piers in Durban.

We called the spot Lucky Dip and hooked some big fish near it.

A while ago I posted footage of fishing from a bridge in Florida in the USA.

Today we go under a bridge as Captain Blair and a friend hook into a wily Florida tarpon.
