VIDEO: Marlin from a jetski
A jetski angler hooks a marlin and later joins it in the ocean.
There are several types of marlin with the Atlantic blue marlin and the black marlin the biggest in the family.
Atlantic blue marlin can weigh over 800 kilograms, while black marlin of over 700 kilograms have been caught.
Many marlin species are currently considered vulnerable and many anglers choose to tag and release hooked marlin.
Striped marlin are smaller than the Atlantic blue and black marlin.
The largest striped marlin I know of weighed 190 kilograms.
The footage below shows a jetski angler hooking and eventually releasing a marlin.
