VIDEO: Marlin action off Mauritius

FreeSpool lead after an opening day on which they caught a lovely marlin.

Right now I cannot tell you where they ended as that would spoil the story.

I can reveal that the FreeSpool boys are again chasing billfish off Struisbaai at the moment.

The past week has also been a big one for Neal Govender.

He was crowned champion at the Racetech Yamaha Jet Ski Fishing Classic in Mozambique.

It is not the first time Govender has won the contest at Ponta do Oura.

It remains the biggest competition of its type in the world.

However, our focus today is on FreeSpool and their Mauritius marlin quest.
