VIDEO: Light tackle surf fishing
Updated | By Staff Writer
This river is 250 kilometres long and enters the Indian Ocean about 40 kilometres east of Port Elizabeth.
Khoisan people knew this river as the Nukakamma.
It means Grassy Water and refers to the green and grassy banks of the Sundays River.
Alain Tardin and I plan to fish in a very different setting next week.
We hope to launch from Durban Ski Boat Club on Wednesday.
We will be hoping to do better than the Flathead we caught on live maasbanker last month.
We are yet to catch something decent off our jetski in KZN waters.
Alain and his girlfriend enjoyed success in Mozambique last month.
They caught two large tuna en route to winning the doubles title at the Racetech Yamaha Jetski Fishing Classic at Ponta do Ouro.
We are hoping some of the Ponta luck will rub off on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, let us enjoy the Sundays River footage below.
