VIDEO: KZN south coast fishing
Updated | By Staff Writer
Skates, sandsharks and other shark species tend to frequent our coast in the hotter months and are often found fairly close to the beach.
I have also enjoyed targeting large shad in December.
Summer also means dorado action for those fishing in deeper water.
You may recall the dorado caught by Alain Tardin last December that won the East Coast Radio Fishing Challenge for the Drive Team.
Another summer benefit is the early sunrise which allows more fishing time before work in the mornings.
Today we will focus on two summer regulars here in KZN - brown skates and sandsharks.
The footage below was shot on the lower south coast.
