VIDEO: Fishing for tripletail
The tripletail is a marine fish species that can weigh up to 18 kilograms.
Tripletail are found in tropical and sub-tropical oceans around the world.
These fish prefer warmer waters and are a target species for anglers off Florida in the USA.
Tripletail sometimes hunt by floating just below the surface with one side exposed.
This makes them look like floating debris.
Tripletail tend to feed on both other fish and crustaceans.

This is one fish my Sportswave teammate, Alain Tardin, has not caught.
We are hoping to catch something large and shiny off his jetski in the very near future.
