VIDEO: Fishing for Grouper

Grouper is a term used to also cover the so-called sea basses.
These fish are often found in and around wrecks and reef structures.
Grouper can be caught on a variety of baits - both live and dead.
Legend has it that crab was a good bait for grouper in Durban harbour back in the day.
I also remember tales of grouper being hooked off North Pier in Durban.
You can see two fine specimens in the aquarium at uShaka Marine World.
The large grouper at uShaka are kept in the shark tank.
The footage below was shot off the coast of Florida in the USA.
