VIDEO: Durban harbour fishing
Updated | By Staff Writer

Alain Tardin and I spotted some lovely mullet, milkfish and one big kingfish at the Durban harbour marina yesterday.
We saw them soon after returning from a deep sea fishing trip and debated whether or not we should have left the harbour in the first place.
It was awesome spotting a kingfish of around 5kg cruising below our boat in about two metres of water.
The kingfish appeared to have its eye on a school of small blacktail feeding under the walkway connecting the moored boats to shore.
I know from personal experience that live blacktail is an awesome bait for kingfish.
I suspect Alain and I may just make the harbour venue for our next fishing adventure.
Just have a look at the footage below - sure seems a great deal of fun.
