VIDEO: Catching hogfish in the fog
The hogfish is famous for its long snout and is found in the western Atlantic Ocean.
Hogfish weigh up to around 11 kilograms and are prized for their tasty flesh.
One male hogfish generally protects and mates with several females within his territory.
These fish are found as far north as Nova Scotia and are also caught off the north coast of South America.
Our footage today was shot off Florida in the USA.
Captain Blair Wiggins, for once, is not the one to land the target species.
