VIDEO: Bonefish in the shallows
Updated | By Staff Writer

Bonefish weigh up to around 9 kilograms.
They are often found in shallow water.
Bonefish feed on worms, small fish, crustaceans and mollusks.
Good spots for bonefish include the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mozambique and northern KZN.
These fish are easily spooked and anglers generally use light tackle and thin line in their pursuit of bonefish.
Our footage below shows Captain Blair Wiggins getting lucky in spectacular fashion.
The Sportswave team will be hoping for similar luck during the Durban Ski Boat Festival later this month.
We will be chasing a trophy couta in our quest to win a boat valued at R350 000.
