VIDEO: Awesome tuna fishing action
I hooked the tuna off Shelly Beach last Saturday and managed to get it right next to the boat.
It shook my hook just as the skipper was about to gaff it.
My Sportswave teammate, Alain Tardin, caught four yellowfins last month and has also landed both dogtooth and longfin tuna.
He maintains that yellowfins are the best fighters of three species he has caught.
Alain released all four yellowfins landed off Umhlanga last month.
Today we take you to Louisiana to see Captain Wiggins chasing both blackfin and yellowfin tuna.
Blackfin tuna are not found off the coast of South Africa.
