*Video* Awesome dorado action

The dorado is a colourful and very acrobatic fish and is found in the waters off KZN.

These fish are also called mahi-mahi. It is a term taken from the Hawaiian language. Our footage below was shot off Costa Rica.

Dorado tend to hunt near the ocean surface and have been known to hide in clouds of floating seaweed.

Dorado grow to around 18 kilograms, but most of those caught are smaller than this.
