The final score at Old Trafford was 1-1 after goals came from Nemanja Vidic for United and Sebastien Schweinsteiger for the defending champions.

The other match on display last night saw Barcelona and Atletico Madrid share the spoils at the Camp nou.
Barca had to come from behind after Diego's wonderstrike put Atletico ahead, it was Neymar who scored the equaliser for the hosts.
Quarterfinal action continues this evening, Real Madrid host Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea play away PSG.
