Tovey backs Amazulu's Mabizela deal
Updated | By Nondumiso Zakwe

The Durban-based outfit confirmed the signing of free agent Mabizela yesterday as they look to climb the PSL standings.
Tovey believes signing Mabizela is probably a worthwhile risk for a club desperately in need of points.
''You know, they don't have time on their side and they've got a lot of catching up to do and so any signing that can add value is useful and Mabizela does add value as a player. Long-term there will be question marks due to his nature, but the immediate impact might be valuable to the club," Tovey said.
Mabizela joins the bottom-placed club on a six-month deal.
The Durban franchise has also secured the services of Roscoe Pietersen and Bongi Ntuli this month.
Ntuli is on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns until the end of the season, while Pietersen has joined from Supersport United in an 18-month loan deal.
Amazulu will host Orlando Pirates on Wednesday, February 11 when the PSL resumes.
Kickoff at the Moses Mabhida Stadium is at 19h30.
