England will start day three of the first Ashes Test against Australia on 80 for two in their second innings.

England lead by 15 runs at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The unbeaten batsmen are Alastair Cook on 37 and Kevin Pietersen 35.

Mitchell Starc has taken both wickets.

Teenager, Ashton Agar, had earlier played a stunning innings for Australia.

Agar, making his Test debut, hit the highest score ever by a number 11 in Test cricket. Agar was eventually out for 98.

He came to the crease with Australia struggling at 117 for 9.

Agar and Phillip Hughes then shared in a tenth-wicket partnership of 163 to help Australia reach 280 all out. Hughes was left undefeated on 81.

James Anderson was the most successful England bowler. Anderson took five for 85 in his 24 overs.

This is the first of five Tests.

Meanwhile, India have won the triangular one-day series in the Caribbean.

They beat Sri Lanka by one wicket in the final in Trinidad on Thursday.

India reached their victory target of 202 with two balls to spare.

Rohit Sharma top scored for India with 58, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni cracked 45 not out from 52 balls. Rangana Herath bowled superbly for Sri Lanka. The spinner claimed four for 20 in his ten overs.
