The Proteas have won the only T20 international of their tour of New Zealand.
South Africa defeated the Black Caps by 78 runs in Auckland today.
Imran Tahir claimed five for 24 for the Proteas, while Andile Phehlukwayo took three for 19.
The Proteas had earlier amassed 185 for six in their 20 overs.
Hashim Amla top scored with 62.
Amla faced 43 balls.
Faf du Plessis made 36.
Trent Boult took two for eight in his four overs for New Zealand.
